As part of the major railway upgrade in New Zealand, Martinus has signed additional agreements with KiwiRail to undertake works across the North Island.

Martinus has multiple crews that are able to travel and / or relocate to key areas requiring rail works.  For these works Martinus is contracted to:

• Undertake ongoing services to manage and operate KiwiRail’s Flash Butt Welding Facility in Woburn. 
• A welding programme at Whangarei to support the Northland Line Upgrade 
• Rail renewals across Auckland Metro
• Provide labour and plant to enable tunnel maintenance at Kaimai Tunnel Support Services.
